Staff Page Jason Rose has been at RHS since 2008. He teaches Wind Bands, Jazz, and Chamber Orchestra. Along with teaching, he directs Bomber Marching Band and the pit orchestra for RHS musical productions. He holds a Master's Degree in Music Education from Central Washington University, is a national board certified teacher, is principal clarinet of the Mid Columbia Symphony, and dislikes 'soft jazz/pop' like Kenny G. firstname.lastname@example.org
Sarah Berglund (or Ms. B), was born and raised in the Tri-Cities and graduated from Southridge High School in 2001. She attended Eastern Oregon University in LaGrande, OR where she received her Bachelors of Music. Ms. B will start her 11th year of teaching in the Fall of 2018 with the Richland School District. During that time she obtained her Master’s Degree in Secondary Education from Grand Canyon University and her Professional Certification through the state of WA. She also teaches the Carmichael School Orchestras and is thrilled to have the opportunity to teach so many of her students for longer than just middle school. Ms. B considers herself a viola player, but played violin for over 15 years before officially switching in college. Cassadra Cook has been teaching at Richland High School since 2015. She teaches Jazz Band, runs the Bomb Squad Pep Band, and assists the Marching Band. Cassandra received her bachelors degree in music education from Central Washington University. She loves to play saxophone and played in the Seattle Wind Symphony. She currently plays with the Columbia Basin Concert Band and is a regular sub with the Three Rivers Saxtette. She loves hiking, coffee and of course the rain.
